I've started having some computer problems lately and I'll state them both here just encase they are related.

iBook G4
I was using my computer doing nothing in particular and my keyboard stopped functioning correctly. The number and letter keys do not work. I can cmd-tab and use the letters when in combination with the cmd key as in when I quit programs etc. It's quite annoying. I've never had a problem until now.

It seems like I'm having another problem and I'm kind of suspicious since it started on the same day. I can't figure out the pattern but my computer's finder just freezes. I won't be able to do anything suddenly. My dock doesn't respond, folders don't respond...unless I use the keyboard shortcuts for the actions.

I've never had this problem before...

Any ideas? I've also deleted and re-paired the keyboard and such.

Thanks in advance...Leo

So heres he deal i had a very similar problem when using my ibook before i upgraded to mbp.
when i did a user emigration to the mbp i thought everything would be fine as i thought it was a problem with my ibook.
As it turned out everything was fine until.....
2 weeks using the mbp the problem started again. I could have torn my hair out.
What i did to solve it and this has worked haven't had the problem since is to create a new user and move all of my documents and settings into the new user. Then delete the old one.
There is an apple document somewhere on the apple site that shows you how to do this as I cant remember the exact process. (it is quite long i can tell you that.)
I think this may be the document I used to do it.
Find it here.
Hope this helps.
