Hi,
I have a problem with my old Imac G5,running 10.4.
3 times now, the system have frozen and only way to make it run again is switching it off AND running a full reinstall of OS.
WHen I run the disc utility, the HDD looks ok, but the Boot partition seems "unmounted". And not able to mount it either using the <mount> icon.
As stated, only way to make it work is to reformat the partition and reinstall the OS. But when thats done, it works fine. And had it running for days before the same thing happened again.
When I try to repair/verify it, it just reports "an error".
Any tips?
Ps: excuse my poor english
