For a while I thought Parallels was just being silly. But I have now found that my problem with Parallels giving me an error message when I try to boot Windows is down to OS X (Leopard).
For some strange reason it keeps changing my hard drive ID. So one day it might be Disk0s3, in which case Parallels boots up just fine. Then the next day I might try and boot Parallels and it tells me that it can't find Disk0s3.
So I open up the Disk Utility and discovered that OS X had, for some reason, taken it upon itself to change my Windows drive to Disk3s3! So I have to keep opening my Parallels file and editing the boot drive ID every other day!
Is this Apples way of making me stop using Windows?! Because I need it to test websites in that infernal IE6 and to download TV from BBCi.
