Getting something shipped to me from the US, and at the moment its sitting in Parcelforce's international hub...apparently waiting to be cleared by customs.
How long does this stuff usually take? And will they charge me for just looking at it?
Its rather annoying.

You may have to pay import duty (think it's the same rate as VAT) but that is all you will need to pay. Normally only takes a few days.

Yeh, I agree. If they do 'look' at it and put duty and VAT you will also get a nice 'clearing' fee also for their 'admin and looking at it'. I hate UK customs.

yeah ive had this problem it was there for a week though..

over all i saved money on my stuff.. it was some bike parts.. in the uk.. £220.. in the u.s.. $220.. huhar! i had to pay around £30 extra ontop of my 'half price bargain'

wish it worked for macs!
