I recently sent my new 17 inch mbp to apple for repair after I found one of my screws to be stripped. the advice the apple store gave me was to put glue in the screw head and place a screw on top of that and use the latter screw to unscrew the stripped one.
Okay well I recieved and email from apple saying that they can either fix mine or send me a new one for repair.
what should I do, the thing im worried about is recieving a new mbp with some flaw and having to do this all over again. my first one, aside from the screw was really good. no defects on the screen or anywhere else.
also if i get the new one, will apple not offer me this ever again if something bad happens? I have applecare and planned on waiting till a new model came out to show apple my computer in hopes of getting the new model.
If i get my mbp replaced already will I ruin my chances of a replacement for a broken mbp down the road.
