Can I move the iMovie Events to a subfolder?

Is it possible to move iMovie Events to a subfolder of the same hard drive? I want to create a folder called Videos where I can dump all of the videos I have and I want iMovie to move its Events directory there but the Event Library won't let me choose subfolders only the hdd roots.

I'm using iMovie 08 btw
