well i had a G-Raid2 that just went out on me w/all data. sending in for fixixng and hopefully recovery of data. But i am thinkin about either going to the G-Sata or G-safe and would like to know if anyone has any opinions on either of these 2. i am a digital photographer and videographer so i would like to use for those purposes along w/archiving. all comments are welcome. also i thought of G-sata cause i was gonna get the 1TB where as the G-safe id only get 500GB which are both in the same $$$ range

thx in advance

If this is your archive copy, where you'll store files that have no other backup copy around, then I'd get the G-Safe because raid1 offers you protection against the drive failing and losing all your data. But if this is for working files that will be backed up somewhere else, then yes, I agree with getting the G-Sata for more space.
