Black or White MacBook? You choose!

Ok, I will be purchasing a Macbook Soon, but I have a problem. I can't decide between White or Black!! So I am letting YOU vote. I will keep count of the number of votes for each. And which ever wins I will buy (If I do make up my mind then this is over...) and I WILL post pics!

Black!

White is gong the way of the Dodo as far as Macs and iPods are concerned. The MacBook is the last predominantly white Mac left, and it will transition to aluminium soon.

White also discolours and scratches more easily than black. The screen also looks brighter on black MacBooks.

P.S. A real poll may of been useful to add.
 
I was faced with the same choice and I went with the white. While the black color is so much better looking, I just couldn't justify spending $200 more for a slightly bigger hard drive and the color. I guess if you're willing to spend the money, then heck yeah, but I just couldn't and didn't at the time.

I'm perfectly happy with my 2.4 white. :)
 
You're not going to like this vote...NEITHER!

With white, you risk discoloration.
With black, you risk oil smearing/smudges.

I say go for the MBP or MBA.

The Apple Signature White MacBook. There is no substitution.

Get white and use the savings toward "next Mac I will buy" fund, iPod/iPhone, Apple Care, etc.
 
No question: black!

I was faced with the same dilemma, but the black just looks better. The white looks like shiny plastic when closed and the interior when open just can't compare to the smooth, chic, appearance of the black. Besides, everyone already has the white - don't be afraid to stand out.
 
black definitely, with an incase hard shell attached to it.
I know you lose some of the looks of the black design (even though you spend more :D) you just can't beat how much more durable your macbook will be, plus you can't even tell its on when opened.
this way, no more worrying about brasso, or magic eraser, and you can finally enjoy your mac.

second, i used to like black but it's just dull and dry, and oily, and too much $. There are good cases to cover the white these days to prevent scratches. plus the white seems to go better with all the other apples stuff to me, like the cinema displays, keyboards, mice and even ipods. get the white and i_____.
 
Although I'm embarrassed at paying the black tax, I just don't like the white.

Go black!
