PowerBook HDD replacement problem

Hey guys, big problems over here!

I am currently replacing my hard drive in my PowerBook G4 1.5ghz

I ordered a replacement hard drive off eBay, package came today. The connector on the new hdd is different from the one that is currently there. The original has many little pins, where as the replacement has 2 plastic pieces with copper pins embedded into it. Here is the drive I bought...

I looked up which drive I should be ordering on OWC before making the purchase! Is there any simple solution to this?

let me guess... you bought a SATA drive not a PATA version...
you could return it, assuming it's not opened.

Yeah, the sticker says Serial ATA on the actual hdd. Is PATA what I wanted?

Yes. The PowerBooks were built before there were SATA notebook drives, for the most part. I believe the MacBook Pros were the first to feature SATA drives.
