I have a folder of a DVD, but no physical disk, and I would like to extract some chapters from that DVD. I know handbrake can do this, but I want to extract it losslessly and handbrake only lets me compress it. Is there a way to do this without burning it to a physical disk and using something like MacTheRipper (if that even lets me choose to extract individual chapters?).
Thanks

Thanks, but that doesnt let me choose chapters or anything. I would have to go and cut out everything that I dont want and find the times manually, which would take forever.

If you have BootCamp or Parallels / Fusion, this can be done with AutoGK in WinXP. I haven't found a free equivalent on the Mac for scene extraction from DVDs.

Researching this problem, I found MPEG StreamClip to be a poor tool for this process.
