OK.... I was not sue where to put this thread so ill drop it here....

I want to use HandBrake to convert my DVD collection and store them on ? so i can then replay them on my TV. This way I am not killing the DVD's and ill have a perfect digital copy forever. I probably need a terabyte worth of storage.

I used a ? mark above as i am not sure what to use for a storage unit. What will work and what's the best way to do this ?

THANKS in advance for the insight for this.....

sounds great.....
how does it all flow together ???

It's fabulous. You check the link in my sig for our setup. All are dropped into iTunes on the Media Mac (we have about 730 gigs of content) and this serves up our Apple TV as well as the other Macs in the house (one desktop and two laptops) since iTunes sharing is so easy. Basically, we can watch or listen to anything in the library from any room in the house - even on the patio. Completely seamless. It's so nice, we dumped DirecTV over a year ago. That was $50 a month - nice little savings considering the cost of our Apple TV ($300) and a 1 TB hard drive ($250). We're past the break-even point. The only thing I miss is ESPN...
