Hi everyone.

I had been using Windows XP for several years and recently got my first apple, an Imac. On Windows I'm used to doing "disk cleanups" daily and "disk defragmenter" occasionally. What maintenance on Leopard should I be doing routinely? I often "reset safari."
Is that basically all there is to it?

the same man except ive had a bit of experience with macs in the past..

Frankly - i havent had to do ANY maintenance on my imac yet.. i seriously thing the o.s is alot better of maintaining itself incomparision to windows.. however if you go into finder/apps theres a whole load of utilities where you can fiddle with things and clean stuff up

I recently used a programme called monolingual or something which removes architectures that you dont use (unless you use rosetta stuff (programmes that were designed for the ppc macs) and deletes all the other languages and stuff on your computer.. i saved 3gb! and every programme seems to run a bit faster..

Thats pretty much the only 'cleaning' ive done

I reset safari alot - it seems i can never log into hotmail - which is infuriating, a reset fixes' that problem

I used camino for a while but then i couldnt use my online banking! so went back to safari.
