After playing a round of SSBB online with some random people on friend mode yesterday (friend code sharing site), I noticed that I sucked more that usual.

It ended up that the Wii took about a second to pick up on the fact that I had pressed a button, which made having any timing at all a challenge. I was using a GC Wavebird controller. I thought that the batteries were dying, and I changed them. It didnt work. It was late, so I got ready for bed and decided to wait until tomorrow to fix it.

Today, I was doing the same thing, and the controller was being stupid again. I quit out, and checked if it was lagging offline. It wasnt. Even in the "lobby" of online mode, it was fine. I decided to use different controllers, and they all were laggy. I tried the wired GC, and the Wii-mote and nunchuck. I am about to test if there is lag while I am fighting "with anyone".

A person said it might be because of my internet connection, but all other wifi games that I have played have never had this problem.

Please help! :)

P.S. Sorry for the wall o' text.

EDIT: It also laggs on the with anyone mode too. D:

BAD EDIT: It ends up that it is for all the modes of SSBB. I tryed to play GHIII, and it was lagging too. Aparently its the Wii that has this problem. Im going to call Nintendo tommorow.

Yeah, identical for me. It's not a problem with the controller, it actually is a lag issue. Brawl's not very good about keeping it synced, and you notice it a lot more because the game is so time sensitive.

I have yet to have one game where my controls weren't a half second delayed.

Never had another WiFi game with any problem.
