Hi guys,
I'm so mad about my MacBook that I love dearly that I even subscribed to this thing just to talk about my issue.
So, I own the first generation MacBook and we've been through some tough times. About a month or two into using it, my display just totally crashed. I sent it in for repair twice. Once, they just replaced it with I guess a used part and it failed as soon as I turned it on and so I sent it in again and they replaced it with a new display. That's my first issue with my MacBook and recently about 2 months ago, it started to act funny. It would randomly restart itself. And when it does, sometimes it will just show a blank screen and won't respond to any thing--kind of like in standby mode but can't wake up. The odd thing about it is that the pulsating light has a very rapid pulse. And other times it shows streaks of yellow lines going horizontally and vertically (making a checkered pattern) along with very high pitched and annoying streaking sound (something like a big van backing up but bazillion times more disturbing).
Now with all that said, I sent it in for repair twice regarding the same issue. First they just reinstalled tiger and sent it back to me, and the problem persisted. I sent it back and they said it's my ram that was the problem and that they're not liable for fixing it.
Now I want to freaking kill my MacBook so that they'll replace it before anything else goes wrong and or my warranty runs out. Don't you think it's a bit ridiculous about how many repairs I've been through to like not get a freaken new one? I seriously feel like I deserve a new MacBook Pro or something...god my life sucks

First of all, thanks for all your support and care!
My MacBook is the first generation MacBook and I have the Apple Care extended warranty.
I had the LCD replaced twice about two months into using it (a little bit longer than a year ago).
And recently, I sent it in twice because it was restarting by itself and the yellow streaks and screeching sound.
After my second service, same thing happened again and when I called Apple, they said it was because of my third party RAM.
Now I have the original 512MB ram that came with the computer, and it seems to be working okay (besides the slowness).
The only problem I see is that because my MacBook is been through so much my bottom shell is broken. The bottom, where the palms rest, I can pull the white cover and see that the hole for the screw has been broken off and also to the left, where the usb and other ports are, is also broken. I haven't contacted Apple yet, hoping that my MacBook will break soon.
Does that answer your questions??
Oh! and I can show you a video recording of this problem if you guys are interested!
Thanks again, and I'm looking forward to hearing from you guys!
