I tired the ziphone jb and it would appear that for whatever reason it did not work. The lack of instruction didnt help either. In any case, when I turn on my iPod I get the apple logo then it goes into a whole bunch of DOS like codes. Then it just repeats "BSD root: md0, major 2, minor 0"

Please help =(

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU like Mac OS X; en) AppleWebKit/420.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.0 Mobile/4A102 Safari/419.3)

same THIng happens to me. Download ziphone on another computer and try to refurbish THEN restore. As for lack of documentation, under the buttons is all the documentation you need

zzzz.... doesnt seem to want to refurbish.... would you mind giving me exact instructions on how to fix it?

Much appreciated =)

Using Ziphone 2.6b with 1.1.4 firmware

*Restore you iPod
*Open ZiPhone
*Under "Advanced Options" click "Fix NVRAM" should only take no more than 30 seconds
*"Now click "iPod Touch" beside the "Jailbreak" (it is specific for the Touch)

all should be good if this doesn't work, then god hates you hahahaha kidding, but it should work no problem..

well i have the same problem but when i try to press refurbish on ziphone, all it says is looking for phone and doesnt progress any farther than that. itunes doesnt even know an ipod is plugged in. can anyone give me specific instructions to fix this?

becouse refurbish is ONLY for iphones, the only thing that works there is jailbreak

So it all works great now but I just realized that it doesn't have the updates like maps and all that. How does one get said apps?
