Hi guys,
I live in Melbourne, and am not very informed when it comes to the different digital, HD, analogue, whatever ways our TV flies around... I'm looking at buying a USB tv tuner, and was wondering if a "DTT" stick would do the trick, or if I will need a "hybrid" which seems to use DTT and DVB-t, whatever that means, and combines them.. If someone could enlighten me I would be most greatful!.

Thanks

Hi There,
The EyeTV Hybrid is able to take both digital and analogue signals. You can watch digital TV (like having a set top box) or the traditional analogue tv that most old tvs have these days if your digital reception isn't strong.

You can also use the analogue feature to digitize your old home movies on tapes for example.

EDIT: I think DTT and DVB-t both mean digital terrestrial.

EDIT 2: There is also the EyeTV Diversity which lets you watch 2 different digital channels at once (you can't use the analogue features with this one). It's two digital tuners also enables you to record one channel, whilst watching another.
