Desktop To-Do List Application

Hi,

I'm looking for a todo list application which is not a widget and which doesn't require me to launch it.
I'd like for it to always sit on my desktop so I always have a clear idea of what needs to be done without having to open up any application or press the widget view key.

Any suggestions?
