hi all, so i have just purchased a new macbook because i needed something portable, but i have come to a problem with sharing/copying my itunes. :(

i want to copy songs out of my the desktop computer (1st gen powermac) into the MB, copying the lot is simply out of the question with nearly 300gig worth :D

so i made a playlist of the stuff i want to copy across, made a folder on the desktop, highlighted all the songs in the playlist but it wont copy i get the + over the empty folder but then nothing happens when i release click.

I thought this would be the way to go about it, once i had my folder of the music i wanted i could just transfer when networked into the MB's itunes somehow:confused:.

am i barking up the wrong tree or is there a some other way to do this??

*fixed* for some reason itunes thought it was too large to copy or it was getting confused because some of the items where on different HDD's so i did it one album at a time and it's working...
