I've tried searching the forums, but I can't seem to clarify this question on my own (apologies if this is here somewhere)

I purchased a new Iphone today:
1.1.2 OTB firmware with 4.6BL

I downloaded ZiPhone GUI v2.6b

My question is this: I've read that if you downgrade the bootloader to 3.9 it is irreversable and you will be unable to restore to 4.6 --so it would be evident the phone was hacked even if the phone is restored.

I've also read that with ZiPhone it cannot be unlocked fif you don't downgrade.

I am planning on using my t-mobile service.

Can anyone clarify this? I am very much new to this and while I'm pretty computer savvy, this has got me stumped.
