I want to start writing some webthings in Python. I don't really know where to start, and I haven't been able to find a good tutorial on getting Apache to work and such. How am I supposed to get it so that I open a Python script in my browser and it runs the script, rather than just showing me the file as text? I've enabled Web Sharing and have tried to put the file in /Sites and /Library/WebServer/CGI-Executables. I don't really know what I'm doing. Any tips?

It's setup from the Apache configuration file httpd.conf. There's a few tutorials if you just Google for it. Here's some,
