I just bought a EyeTV Hybrid for my MBP. How do I receive channels. Do I need an antennae? I searched for channels and it found some but none of them have any 'Real Names" - Like 84.6 etc. It says Titan TV doesn't recognize the channels. What do I do.

Dude, it's not an antenna. Either plug your cable line or an antenna into it and watch the magic.

I just bought the

Philips PHDTV3 Indoor Amplified UHF/VHF/FM/HDTV Antenna

off of Amazon.

I think I got a good price. But shipping is 4 - 14 days. So I guess that I can't watch TV on my mac until then.

since you are waiting, if you have a cable outlet in your home, even if it's not activated, try connect to that and run the ClearQAM tuning--you might well pick up something. I get the four main networks plus PBS on my cable link, which I otherwise only use for a broadband connection.

though you have already purchased your antenna, you might also check out http://antennaweb.org it will tell you what the signal strengths are like in your area, and the likelihood of receiving strong over-the-air HDTV signal from your particular antenna.

I contacted the seller to cancel the order, I dont know if it will be cancelled but I found a better antenna that has more service in my area and is cheaper.

I've have a couple antennas. The cheapest $10 one at Best Buy works great.
