Hey guys,

I need major help. I just bought a 1.5 ghz powerbook. I have a Core 2 Duo macbook. I know this is going to sound crazy, but it's already looking obvious, so I want to transfer my files to the PPC notebook. Is this possible or safe at all? I can back up my files with an external hdd, but I don't know if intel will be compatible with the ppc.

I like the portability and price I got out of the powerbook, so I am looking to selling the macbook. I am a college student, so there's nothing huge going on with my computing, except word, excel, and powerpoint.

When you say "files", do you mean documents or apps? Your docs will work perfectly, and apps will depend on the specific app. Do a Get Info on each app that you want to run and ensure that they're Universal or PowerPC, and not Intel.
