Hi, I just bought the Mac Pro in Jan and sometimes when I do my work in photoshop, the software will shutdown unexpectedly, the other programs like itunes and msn messenger shuts down together as well, ad it turned into a blue screen for about ten secs, and it is like the finder would relaunch by itself. I called applecare, they are not sure if it is the OS or hardware problem. Anyone faced this problem? Really needed advice badly.

Mac Pro finder relaunch for no reason

I tried using another version of the software, it shuts down also. If it is software issue, does it mean all the softwares in my com is corrupted because they shut down together when the finder relaunch? :-(

No, this sounds symptomatic of a hardware issue that throws the OS into a panic.

Is there anything revealing in the system logs (viewable in /Applications/Utilities/Console.app)?

How do I decipher from the console? There are a lot of info stated there. If you don't mind can advice more? Sorry, I really sound like a novice but I am just so exasperated on this almost new computer gving problems.

it states NSautorelease no pool just leaking when I opened my photoshop CS
