Now is certainly the time to snap one up, you know that most of them were returned because of the sleep/reboot issue which was just fixed with the firmware update*.

* Time will tell, but looking solid so far.

Well, it's a buttload off the price... even through the education channel with discounts, it's still $4500 new.

Not worth it for the 3.2, too much money for too little gain.

I agree going from 2.8-3.2 doesn't give very significant gains in performance. I seriously though about buying a 3.2, but instead went with a WD Raptor HD and 8 GB RAM upgrades. Total cost will still be less and realistically the faster HD and more RAM will boost your performance more that a couple extra CPU cycles per second in most situations.

But hey if you got the money by all means get a 3.2 I know I certainly would have if money wasn't a factor.

It's $700 less than the normal Store price for that configuration and only $200 more than the DEVELOPER price for that configuration ($100 when you factor in the cost of the cheapest developer package).

Phenomenal deal, I'd say.
