iPod Problem with adding .mov files in iPod shuffle

I am confused, so you went from .wma format to .mov(movie) format? Well there is certainly no way to add movie files to the shuffle, you must find a way to convert the files to .mp3 or some accepted music format.

Obviously, your shuffle cannot play the movie files, so iTunes will not copy them.

Howvere, I do think you are maybe trying to use your shuffle as a flash drive (which is perfectly possible) to transport those .mov files. In that case if you have a Mac, you're going to have to find those files manually (Probably in your iTunes folder, in the "Music" section of your hard drive) and drag and drop them onto the the shuffle icon on your desktop.

If you have Windows, you should probably find out what it recognizes the shuffle as. (Mine says "Removable Disk E") and then find those files you want to put on there (can't help you with finding them, don't know Windows too well) and then either choose to send them there (from the right click menu) or manually drag and drop them.

.mov files are movie files, Apple's preferred audio format is .aac. I think I know what may have happened. Did you change it from .wma to .mov in another program, meaning you know for sure that it is .mov? If you did then that wasn't the right thing to do. You should be able to File-->Import then pick your .wma's and iTunes will convert it into an iPod/iTunes compatible format.

There are some audio variants of .mov files that are only sound. If iTunes let's you import it, can you right click and convert it for iPod? Or you could open the file in quicktime and export it to another format.
