iPod Jobs, Where is our promised price slash?

Recalling what Mr. Jobs said in one of his open letters half a year ago, he promised a slash on UK iTunes song prices as a settlement of an investigation conducted by the EU.

However the typical price for a single song is still 79p now, way higher than any other iTunes store across Europe. Wondering whether the promise has gone empty... hmm...:mad:
 
Way higher? Have you checked exchange rates lately? Prices are pretty much on par at the moment.

Actually, Jobs stated in January he was looking at a six month timescale for a correction in wholesale prices. Who knows by then the UK store may be cheaper in any case.

Out of curiousity...what is 79p in USD?
