OK, so apparently none of the iLife apps show up in Software Update unless they are in their original location in Applications. I found this the hard way as I was trying to update iWeb and was clueless why it wouldn't appear in the Software Update Window. Well, I have my apps organized in sub-folders in Applications and that was the reason it was not showing up.

yeah but what can ya do about it?

It would be inefficeint for apple to ask software update to search your entire harddrive, and itd be more annoying if software update asked to install stuff for programs you dont have. Am I right?

If you really dont want iLife programs in applicatiions folder, then just create an alias of them, OR manually update them.
