When/if the 3g iphone comes out do you thing they might offer an upgrade offer that would be attractive to people who already have the old iphone?

Similar to the upgrade offer for the memory upgrade iphones recently.

Oh wait, do you mean the option to upgrade our plan?

If so, then yeah 100%. I believe someone announced that in the passed from AT&T already.

I thought you meant like a "bring in your old iPhone, get a discount on a 3g iphone!"

I don't know if you are in the UK but we aren't locked into EDGE with ATT. If a 3G iphone is release we can just buy it an activate it as a replacement to the iPhone I already have.

I plan to buy the 3G iphone and sell my older one. I am sure I could get $150-$250 for it.

Well of course in the UK you aren't locked into AT&T but unless you iphone is hacked you are locked in with O2 for 18 months right. If you want to buy the new 3g iphone they will probably make you sign a new 18 month contract to get it.
