This afternoon I closed the lid of my MPB (the model right before this latest edition), putting it to sleep.

Upon returning, when I press a key, use the trackpad, etc. the computer will "wake". Keyboard backlighting will come on, noise gets made when the volume controls are changed, etc. But the display remains dark.

So far, putting it back to sleep and waking it back up has been ineffective. When it's reset, I get the startup chime, and then the white light indicating sleep comes on. At about the right time the computer will become responsive, but still no screen display.

Little help?

Mine does this as well when I leave my airport on. So I turn it off and its all good. Although sometimes even with it off it still doesn't wake. What works for me sometimes is to close the lid and then slowly open it. I hope that helps.
