I don't want the dock icon.

I tried to edit the info.plist file in contents but I get this message

The document “Info.plist” could not be saved. You do not have appropriate access privileges.

Obviously I checked and my permessions are all set to read and write.. is there another way to get rid of this useless icon.. PeerGuardian just runs in the background and i never have to really access it.

you can try using Dockless to add that key as it may use the correct permissions. or just try dragging the plist to your desktop then edit, save it then drag it back to PG's contents and type your password.

but an even easier way to do this would be to "cd" to PG's contents in the Terminal and edit Info.plist using "sudo nano" if you no khow to do it. would go something like this:

Code:
cd /Applications/PeerGuardian.app/Contents

Code:
sudo nano Info.plist

…and type your password

then add the key and press and ctrl-O to write out (save) and ctrl-X to exit. but then you will need to activate these changes by dragging PG to your desktop then dragging it back to the apps folder.
