I have a few questions regarding a mac home server. currently, I have all of my itunes music/videos stored on a 500 gb WD externa
hard drive. overall, I have about 105 gb of itunes stuff. this is also the storage for all of my videos not in itunes (my client's video) so this is going to get filled quick. this was also my time machine backup drive untill apple released backups over airport. so, a 300 gb drive connected to my AEBS is for time machine. by the way, I have a 2.2 SR MACBOOK PRO. so, I want to create a server, mac mini probably, that will house my itunes files, and I would like this nachine to be accessible from over the internet by its IP address. I do have my own personal domain if that makes a difference. I would like to roam around the house with my macbook pro listening to music that is on this server. also, do I need to forward any ports on my APEBS to do so.. remember, I am new at this so please go easy on me. thanks!
