Was using 1.1.3 jailbroken until today when I decided to restore (only option was 1.1.4) and re-jailbreak using iliberty this time.

Lots of crashes so I tried re-jailbreaking again with iliberty and then twice with ziphone.

still seem to be getting a lot of crashes, this due to 1.1.4?

I haven't had any problems myself. 1.1.4 is one of the more stable releases, IMHO.

nothing but problems with my newest jailbreak.

mostly problems with text input, ipod always freezes when entering text.
anyone know a solution?

I found this on another forum see if it works

First restore to 1.1.1 then jailbreak with http://tinyurl.com/36dsyz And Install Comunity Source then oktoprep

Next update to 1.1.2 and jailbreak (do not update installer)

Next install bsd subsystem and bosstool then move fonts and applications

Next update to 1.1.3 and jailbreak when done go to uninstall and reinstall bsd subsystem update installer and uninstall bosstool then install bosstool again and openssh

Next ssh into your ipot and go to private/var/ and if there is an applications folder in there rename it to Applications.old

Last step move fonts and apps with bosstool.

this is from an old post so maybe replace 1.1.3 with 1.1.4

Still on 1.1.2 as I heard lots of bugs from .3 on up...and there isn't much in the newer updates to make me want to get the newer firmware. I'll most likely go to 2.0 when it comes out though.
