I am waiting for Apple to unveil their new upgrades in June 08. I am looking at getting the Blk. MacBook. I am a basic user but I like speed and portability.


*I also do not know if I should spend the extra $$ for the Blk. What is the difference beside the colors?

*Would it be a waste of $$ for me to invest in a MacBook Pro

Any opinions?

Yep! Why wait? Buy now if ya really want one and have the $. Their pretty darn quick now! I bought a refurb which is the model right before the last update I think this Feb and man I couldn't be any happier. It's a 2.2 gig 2 core processor instead of the latest 2.4 gig and honestly it's pretty quick for anything I do on it. So go for it now and enjoy it or keep waiting in anguish. Your call! ;)
 
The new whatever comes in summer, will not be much faster than the 2.4ghz in the macbooks, which is barely faster than the older 2.2, which is no faster than the 2.16 before that. There's a pattern emerging.
 
True but I am hoping on an LED display and maybe a better processor that runs more efficient and cooler. i also heard their is a processor in the works that will support both WiFi and WiMax. Can anyone elaborate on WiMax and a possibel upcoming processor?
