Im getting mine from amazon new for less then the apple refurb. Amazon has em on sale, and they dont have tax.

I live in the middle of no where with no transportation, and I have school work. Not the best situation right now.
Middle-of-nowhere is often a good place to get some side jobs like mowing lawns or doing yard-work. You're going to need some patience though. On the other hand, you could sell something else on eBay or craigslist, but only if you have things you can part with.
I'm pretty sure you've thought about this already but..

Are there any universities or hospitals nearby (maybe not if you really are in the middle of nowhere)? But, if there are, they are always paying 50-300 bucks for participants in studies...

I lived in the middle of no where and made extra money delivering newspapers and working in cornfields during the summer when I was younger. When I turned 16 I worked at Kmart so even in a town of 10,000 people there are jobs.
Another thing that can earn you some quick money is editing photo DVD's. I used to make a ton scanning photos and making DVD's for couples getting married to show at weddings. Even though it is really easy people are always amazed when it was finished.
Also keep in mind that if you order a refurb off Apple's website you can pick out a free after rebate printer. I just got one and even with the sales tax it was a better deal than Amazon.

Schools, churches, sports teams, local service clubs (Rotary, Lions, etc). All of those have lots of members, and all are potential customers for video editing,
It's about networking with people to make sure they know what you can do.
