Anyone see this movie yet? I saw it last night and loved it. I've always been a poker and black jack fan. Loved Rounders with Damon and Norton.

Reviews seem to show people either really liked it, or hated what Hollywood did to the original story.

What did you guys think?

I liked it. AND I know someone in it. Beat that, guys.

I was just joking around cause you said "beat that."

Ah, way to be a douche. But, well played. I suppose it had to be done since I did say to "beat that." I must say, however, that cheating doesn't really "beat" that. So, you lose? ;)

I saw it. Definitely wasn't Oscar material, but it was a decent flick.

Okay, I will.

One of the guys in my high school class is really good at rollerblading. He was in the movie "Roll Bounce." He got paid enuf money to pay for all 4 years of college. His name is Bobby Maida (I think that's how you spell his last name).

I liked it. Provided entertainment.

It was a very stock Hollywood movie. Luckily it had a twist. There was a lot that pissed me off, such as the players using the same casino over and over (at least that what it seemed like).

Also, counting cards is not illegal as they say in the movie. What the character Cole did is very illegal. As smart as these kids are, bring the casino to court could have been a more profitable option than counting cards.

Thats just me though.

i haven't seen the movie, but listening to the herd, colin cowherd pretty much said that they should have made the characters a bit rougher and less attractive, as boston isn't really a place to find hot and attractive people. he would have liked it better if they were awkward at first and then had higher self esteem later, instead of having it in the start. he thought it was too oceans 11 and thought the movie should have been darker.

Yeah, MIT kids aren't exactly the "Ocean's 11" type people, if you know what I mean.

21 was like a well written paper... with no thesis.

Yes, it was an enjoyable story, but it didn't really go anywhere.

Worth renting in a few months, not worth $9+/person
