Iphone in New Orleans

Hi,
I'm going on a business trip to New Orleans and is looking to buy a Iphone. Being a Norwegian, it is not available in the stores in Norway. Roumors say that AT&T will not sell Iphone unless you sign a 2 year plan in the shop, is this true?:mad:

Is there any Istores in New Orleans (I've only found one in Baton Rouge as the closest)?:confused:
 
You can purchase an iPhone at any AT&T store. Just go in and tell them your purchasing it as a gift. There is no Apple Store in the are at this time.
