I have set up Mail to be able to read my emails from both my school email and AOL email. I have a question in that I can't send emails from either of the accounts using Mail. My school uses Zimbra. I cannot figure out how to set it up so that I can send through either AOL or school. Thanks.

Can you receive messages to those accounts via mail?

Chances are your ISP blocks all smtp outgoing mail servers except their own. Just set your outgoing mail server for all your accounts to that of your ISP.

I can receive email through Mail. How would I go about setting it up to my servers to the ISPs. Also, I just find it weird that I can't set up a pretty major email system like AOL to let me send mail through Mail. Thanks.

It is not weird at all; it is fairly common for ISPs and institutions with their own email services to block access to foreign SMTP and IMAP servers. As for accessing AOL messages through Mail, I do it and so too can you. You may manually setup your AOL account in Mail, or you may download and use AOL Setup Assistant to automate the setup for you.

Thanks for the help. I got AOL up and running and now I am going to see if I can figure out how to set up my school email.

Wish I could get my school email to work with :apple: Mail. I never check it because I never use the schools computers.
