Over the years, I've read and commented on dozens of threads which noted poor service from Apple, Apple Support, and the Geniuses at the Apple Stores. However, I wanted to post a good review.

Last night, I went to unplug my MacBook Pro's power adapter and fumbled it, dropped it behind my desk. Since I still had the MagSafe connector plugged into my laptop, I just grapped the cord and pulled...
The adapter snagged into the mess of cords behind my desk (it's a rat's nest from years and years of stuff added and removed). So, I did what anyone would do. I pulled harder.

Whoops.
I pulled the insulation off the connector, exposing the wire and bending it as well. So, I took it to the Apple Store hoping my warranty hadn't yet expired and it would be replaced.

And, success! They replaced the adapter, even though I was a day out of warranty and by all reasonable accounts, broke the thing. Not only that, but they replaced my old bulky 85w adapter with the newer smaller version.

I'm happy.
