Maybe this is a non-issue, but I just wanted to check with you all to see.

I have noticed that under lots of seemly normal circumstances my MBP is using crazy amounts of processing power and memory.

I have a 2.4 Core 2 Duo, 4 GB ram. Bought it from apple about 2 months b4 leopard came out.

Anyway while running lets say iMovie recording normal screen video I'm at 99%, or in safari doing ustream 99%. Handbrake is 110%. Sometimes certain blogs that have lots of video on them get the CPU usage up to 70% nothing playing, in safari and flock. This is normally with few items running. Safari, mail, itunes and yahoo.

I also seem to have a memory leak, or something. After running normal programs listed above, my memory was of the charts. Out of 4gbs I think 100mb where free the rest where wired and active, with some free.

Just kinda wondering if this seems normal, or what. If I have left anything out, plz ask.

Oh I am getting my stats from iStat
