hey guys.

i got my new macbook recently and have installed a couple applications..

however i noticed on a few I did today, the icons are messed up in the applications folder...

they show icons that look like TextEdit but instead are greyed out and have a white circle crossed out sign on them..

the applications open and work fine i was just wondering if anyone knows what i can do about the icons?

here's a picture of my screen with the applications pulled up: http://img135.imageshack.us/img135/4075/picture1gm2.png

That happens when downloaded apps are added and haven't been opened. That's the icon they take on in the Stacks before they've been launched once and you've approved them to run. Simply removing the Apps stack and re-adding it (or logging off/logging on, or rebooting) should fix it.

awesome.
i logged off and back on and it was fixed

thanks!
