Is it possible to add folders that sync in .mac syncing?

I am currently syncing a number of different apple machines for personal use but I would like to sync the desktop folder so that it syncs across all .mac syncing machines. In the system preferences (latest OS) it lists a number of items that can be synced. Does anyone know of a way to add something to this list? If not can anyone think of a work around.
