RSS reader to show threads w/ comments?

I currently use Newsfire as my RSS reader, and for the most part it does its job. However, I've started to use the RSS feature for the Mac Rumors forums, but from there I only get the first post in a thread. Is there a way to turn on something in Newsfire so that I can read an entire thread in that reader, or is there another reader that will do that for me?

FWIW, I've tried google reader, and it wasn't immediately to my liking. Thanks for any help!
