April Fools, Gone To Far??

Is anybody else getting fed up with the constant amount of news that it April fools jokes and having to sift through it to find something real and then not being sure if that is April fools as well??

Just wanted to vent that, cant believe a single thing that is being said today!!!
 
Its not necessarily iPhone, quite a few stories really, mainly in general all the tech news that is out today.

Thought it was really good that Macrumors front page didnt get involved but at the same time I dont know if even that was real or not!!!
 
It's all for fun.

Internet would be boring if no one had a sense of humor, even if sometimes it is utterly stupid.
 
Can take a joke, just like to get the tech news and it just seems completely overloaded with April fools, dont mind a few but just seems to overdone.

Looks like im just going to get slated here really badly and nobody else feels the same way because they dont want to admit to it.

Aw well......

Just catch up on the news tomorrow. Not checking the tech news (or any news for that matter) for the day will do no harm :)

It gets boring when it just gets dragged on. It's the companies that make it better by showing they have at least some humor.

Its complicated, just thought that there was a big empahsis on iPhone april fools, but its the general thing overall that is getting to me a bit. Didnt know where else to put it as well.

Its been a rough day....
 
Yes. It's only funny when it's over-the-top funny. Hillary challenging Obama to a bowling contest to settle their battle was a good April Fools thing. That stupid 3G iPhone rumor wasn't even close to funny (considering the same darn thing happens on here every day).

When it comes to a site that is trying to convey itself as giving you news in some form, pulling a prank yourself is quite stupid. I'm not saying this place is the AP, but I'm glad they put a disclaimer saying they don't do that stuff. I stayed away from the other places for just such a reason. I'm sure The Onion has plenty of fodder.
 
A good rule of thumb is to take anything on the internet with a grain of salt, no matter what. If there's a collaborating source, then it's real. Until then, I'll continue to suspect a Rickroll behind every link.
 
All that I have to say is that today must be like the Thanksgiving Dinner for the Wasteland forum.
