So a friend of mine had a problem with her cd drive and so i asked her to write a paragraph about it so i could post it here to see if anyone has an idea of a fix... Thanks!
"I had a dvd in my computer and I was watching it and then I dragged it to the trash can
and it disappeared from the screen but it made some funny noises and failed to come out. I tried hitting the eject button on the keyboard and that didn't work either. I also tried shoving a credit card in the cd drive and pushing the eject button again, and that too failed to make the dvd come out. I then called apple, and they had me remove my battery, reboot, and try to eject it, as well as trying to eject the entire hard drive. None of these things worked.
Now I can watch the dvd, but it still won't eject"
