This is my first time here and I thought I should introduce myself.

I am Darran from Singapore, 21 this year and programming is just one of my interests. I play football as well and support S.S. Lazio. Oh did I mention I just converted from Windows just 2 months ago?

Congratulations on your recent conversion, hope your happy with your new setup and welcome to MacRumors!... I'm in Japan, getting lost and spending too much money! :D

We have a thread set up already in the community forums where you may like to introduce yourself. Generally we prefer you welcome yourself there, rather than in separate threads. I hope you enjoy MacRumors as much as the rest of us.
