As unpopular as I might become by saying this; I really wish there was still Classic support in the newer versions of OS X. There are a few small Classic programs that I still like! Plus, it would be nice to take a trip down memory lane occassionally.

as nice as it would be... things have to move on... not to mention since we're on a whole new architecture its pretty impossible.

have you tried it? can you run applications? also, it looks liket the link to that file was removed :(

Heh, I know. But sometimes I like to pretend that the world isn't advancing technologically. Ok, I'm totally kidding about that.

Are you even trying? Of course it works on PPC's. Heck, I've gotten it working on Vista and XP.

What kind of ridiculous question is that? Of course I'm trying. I've downloaded three releases of Sheepshaver and not one will even open. Click it and the icon appears and immediately closes. I'm running Leopard on a G4 iBook.

Fair enough, it was a ridiculous thing to say. To get going on it though you need to configure the SheepShaverGUI program first, and then hit start. You don't really start SheepShaver directly from the given app. Its confusing but absolutely works on PPC's. Look at my tutorial site, it'll get you well on your way.

Hmm, thanks for that tip! I will look at your site and try to figure it out. I appreciate your insight.
