mail app and googlemail broke

hi ppl, about 30 mins ago my mail app and googlemail were working perfectly then all of a sudden i got a message saying "The user name and password specified in Mail preferences were not accepted by the server"
now i know everything is correct as i even changed the password just to make sure, and logging in via web gmail works fine, im completely stumped.....
 
nevermind, it seems to have fixed itself, probably something to do wirth gmails end
 
The same ting happened to me too. I had to delete my mail preferences, and sign up my pop mail again. I do hope that gmail fixes this problem pronto, because it's quite annoying!!
