Yesterday I went to take my pictures off my iPhone using Image Capture. I was able to connect everything but when I went to download my pictures it would just hang forever without downloading anything. Today I SSH'd into my phone to try and manually take the pictures off thinking maybe there was a bad file on there that was causing it to hang, but to my surprise, it was gone. As far as I know, it should be located in:

/private/var/root/Media/DCIM

It isn't...

Does anyone know what is going on? Is it maybe time to restore and re-unlock my phone? I think I have perhaps downloaded too many washy 3rd party apps and this is my punishment.

Just in case anyone else is having this problem, I figured it out. I downloaded MobileFinder on my iPhone and the DCIM folder showed up on there. I had some hidden screenshot images in there that couldn't be downloaded and thus were holding up all my other photos from downloading.

Thanks for the advice! :D:rolleyes::p

Thanks for replying to yourself with the actual cause and resolution.

I see this app is not in the app store for me, but I knew that this screenshot I did yesterday did cause this because of your post. So I forwarded that by email to an external email address and then deleted it and the iPhone photo folder was displayed in Windows 7 X64 again, so THANK YOU! :)
