Reflective Dock

Somehow, something happened and now my dock is reflective.

How do I change it back to standard and are there any more options as to the way it looks?

I have the same problem if I do not restart for few a days. Once I restart, my dock is back to normal. MC

Um, is this a joke? Are you running Leopard? It's suppose to be, I'll just take it that you were kidding right?
 
Normally, there is a glass late type effect underneath the dock and yes, it is reflective while it is there but now the glass plate has gone and it looks more reflective than normal.

Could you post a pic? Also you should try resetting the PRAM. Restart your Mac and after you hear the chime sound hold down "Command+Option+P+R" . Wait till you hear the chime sound again and then let go and allow it to boot up to the desktop. See if that fixes your dock but please post a pic of the dock before hand if you can.
 
It's only reflective if there's sometihng there. So, sometimes it's easier to notice this than other times. If you want to get rid of it, check out the app DockSwitcher. You can use all sorts custim docks that way, and it's really easy.
