I just purchased a new 40gb
TV and I love it except even with a 160gb hard drive, it will fill up fast.
From my understanding of
TV, it is basically frontrow. The "how organized are your movies" thread and some apple TV modifying made me think, is it possible to put Itunes on the
TV?
Why? A lot of people are syncing and streaming over their network. Right now all I have is a macbook with limited space. Reading at awkwardforums, you can use an external hard drive and let the
TV read it with your media.
With iTunes inside the
TV it would be the same without streaming. Also with that in mind, figure out some way to get metaX on there.
I started thinking about his after I started encoding some mkvs. The video played fine in iTunes, but it was "laggy" playing on the
TV. Any thoughts on this or am I just crazy

I mainly want the metaX feature but make it work with a 500gb external attached to the tv
